Live to love, and love to live.

I wonder “what if” sometimes. The more I think it, the more disappointed I get.

My mind wanders to this world where things aren’t like they are in reality. In certain situations, it seems like this world is a lot better; and I’m happier. But as my thoughts drift off into this fairy tale, it’s clear that things are missing. There are little details that really impact how the bigger picture makes me feel.

It’s like looking at a painting. Surely, the orange sky compliments that foresty green; but it would look a lot nicer with a star filled night sky. To me, that’s life. It’s beautiful, but as beautiful as it is, I wish it was different. Yet at the same time, it’s quite beautiful the way it turned out in the end.

Now back to my “what if”… There’s no use wondering “what if”. Life is measured by experiences, and experiences make up who we are. So if I really wonder “what if” and get upset, I should remember that I wouldn’t be who I am because of those experiences.. And therefore realize bumps along the road were blessings in disguise.
